Mounting to the front of a Ventrac 4500 series tractor, the out-front design keeps the cutting head fully visible to the operator at all times — a critical advantage over rear or mid-mount boom mowers that require constant guesswork. The arm extends to a vertical reach of 142" from the ground and 115" horizontally from the outside of single wheels, allowing operators to mow steep ditches, cut under fences and guardrails, trim overhanging branches, and maintain ponds and waterways all from a stable, safe machine position.

The MA900's 39" double-action sickle bar cutting head features a 135-degree range of motion — from 45 degrees below horizontal to 90 degrees straight vertical — and is designed to automatically maintain its cutting angle when the boom extends or retracts. This means a consistently level cut with minimal operator input, dramatically reducing fatigue and improving productivity on long maintenance runs. The cutting head is fully submersible, making it ideal for managing aquatic vegetation in water features, retention ponds, and drainage channels. Compatible with single or dual wheel configurations, it can operate on slopes up to 18 degrees with dual wheels — going where other equipment simply cannot.
