Ventrac HB580 Power Broom [Attachment Only]

$3,749.66

New, overstocked inventory, in-stock and ready to ship – surplus inventory, limited supply.

The Ventrac HB580 is a 58″ hydraulically controlled power broom attachment built for the Ventrac mount system, designed to sweep and clear snow, leaves, dirt, light gravel, and thatch from sidewalks, paths, driveways, and turf surfaces — all with full hydraulic angle, lift, and broom direction control from the operator’s seat. A cornerless frame design allows the broom to sweep flush against curbs and into corners without stopping to reposition.

The Ventrac HB580 Power Broom integrates directly with the Ventrac front mount system, connecting and disconnecting in under a minute without tools and drawing all hydraulic power through Ventrac's S.D.L.A. control system — giving the operator full command of broom angle (left or right), height (up or down), and operational on/off without leaving the seat. The cornerless frame is a deliberate design choice: where most rotary brooms have structural frame members that prevent the broom from reaching flush against a curb or structure, the HB580's frame is built without corner obstructions on either side, allowing the full 58" working width to sweep directly against curbs, building edges, and into tight corners that other brooms can't reach.

The 21" diameter nylon bristle broom core spins at 220 RPM at rated engine speed, and the self-leveling mounting keeps the broom horizontal across uneven or transitional surfaces — an important feature on sidewalks and paths with surface imperfections, where a leading edge like a blade or snowblower housing would catch and damage both the equipment and the surface. An optional electric actuator (available separately) allows the operator to reverse broom rotation direction and dial in rotation speed from the seat, expanding material-handling flexibility across different surface types and debris conditions. When the HB580 is detached, it stands independently upright — no parking stand required — and can be reattached by a single operator in minutes. Nylon bristle broom cores are also designed to be field-swapped in a few minutes when worn without requiring removal of the full attachment.

  • Cornerless Frame on Both Sides for Full-Width Edge Sweeping — the frame is built without structural obstructions at either end, allowing the full 58" broom width to sweep flush against curbs, walls, and into corners that conventional rotary broom frames physically can't reach
  • Self-Leveling Mount with S.D.L.A. Hydraulic Control — a self-leveling feature keeps the broom horizontal across uneven and transitional surfaces, while full hydraulic angle and lift control through the Ventrac S.D.L.A. system keeps the operator in the seat through every adjustment
  • Field-Serviceable Broom Cores with Stand-Alone Detach Design — nylon bristle cores swap in minutes when worn without full attachment removal, and the broom stands independently upright when detached for clean, single-operator reattachment
