The Ventrac DC520 Soil Cultivator (Stock Code 39.55226) is engineered to take bare, compacted ground and turn it into an ideal seedbed in one efficient operation. Rather than relying on separate tilling, raking, and rolling passes, the DC520 processes high volumes of soil through four integrated components working in sequence. Cultivator tines lead the process, pulverizing soil and separating out debris as the unit moves through the ground. Separator tines follow immediately behind, sifting the soil and burying rocks and other large debris below the prep surface where they won't interfere with seed germination or future mowing.

Once the soil has been processed and cleared of debris, a distribution blade carries the sifted material and spreads it evenly across the entire 52" working width, eliminating the high and low spots that lead to inconsistent seed coverage. The final stage is a perforated roller that presses down to create a pocketed surface ideal for seed retention while pushing any remaining small debris below grade. With hydraulic depth adjustment controlled directly from the operator's seat, infinitely variable till depth up to 5 inches can be dialed in on the fly to match changing soil conditions across a property without ever stopping to make manual adjustments.
