As of 2023, the Reelmaster 5010-H remains a "game-changer" in fairway maintenance by utilizing a true hybrid power delivery system. Its PowerMatch™ technology monitors mowing conditions in real-time; under normal conditions, the 24.8 HP Kubota® engine handles the workload, but when encountering steep hills or thick turf, the 48V battery pack automatically takes on the cutting unit load. This allows more engine power for the traction circuit and can even boost the engine further to provide over 40 HP of performance. By replacing hydraulic reel motors with electric ones, Toro has reduced maintenance costs and virtually eliminated the risk of hydraulic oil leaks on sensitive turf. The mower is built on the proven 5010 Series platform and features EdgeSeries™ DPA (Dual Precision Adjustment) cutting units for an unmatched quality of cut.
