The Husqvarna 520iHT4 was purpose-built for professional crews who work on tall commercial hedgerows, topiary, and formal hedging where ladder work is the current alternative — slow, physically demanding, and a significant safety liability on commercial sites. The telescopic tube is length-adjustable up to 4.5 m (approximately 12 ft.) of total reach, giving the operator the ability to trim the tops and angles of tall hedges from a stable ground position at a natural standing posture. The fully articulating cutter bar adjusts to any angle required — flat-top finishing, angled side trimming, reaching behind hedges into confined spaces — all without repositioning the operator or changing grip. At 12.1 lbs. without battery, the 520iHT4 is designed to stay manageable at full extension, and low vibration levels mean operators can work for extended periods without the fatigue that a gas-powered pole trimmer generates at the same weight and reach.

The 520iHT4 runs on the full Husqvarna BLi battery platform — compatible with all BLi batteries and chargers, from the BLi100 for lighter use to the BLi300 for maximum runtime on long commercial hedging days. The Power/Save mode selector gives the operator a choice between maximum cutting power for thick, established hedge material and maximum runtime mode for lighter, ongoing maintenance trimming — a practical flexibility that adjusts the machine's output to the day's actual workload rather than running full power when it isn't needed. An integrated battery impact guard at the rear protects the battery from the ground contact, tool drops, and environmental wear that accumulate on a production commercial job site. The cutter bar folds for compact storage and transport between sites, and IPX4 weatherproof certification means the saw handles rain and wet hedge conditions without electrical concerns — a meaningful operational advantage on days when commercial schedules don't stop for weather. Zero direct emissions allow the 520iHT4 to be used in noise-sensitive environments, enclosed courtyards, and residential areas where a gas pole trimmer would be restricted or unwelcome. Compatible with all Husqvarna 40V BLi batteries and chargers across the 300 and 500-series platform.

• Length-Adjustable Telescopic Tube with Fully Articulating Cutter Bar — Up to 12 ft. of Reach — the telescopic tube extends to 4.5 m of total reach and pairs with a fully articulating cutter bar that covers every cutting angle from flat-top to angled side trimming, allowing the operator to work from a stable ground position across the full height and geometry of tall commercial hedges without a ladder
• Power/Save Mode Selection with Compatible with All Husqvarna BLi Batteries — the dual-mode system lets the operator switch between maximum cutting output for thick established material and extended runtime mode for maintenance trimming, with compatibility across all Husqvarna BLi batteries from BLi100 to BLi300 to match runtime to the job
• IPX4 Weatherproof Construction with Rear Battery Impact Guard and Folding Cutter Bar — IPX4 weatherproof certification allows operation in rain and wet hedge conditions without electrical concerns, the integrated rear impact guard protects the battery from site damage, and the folding cutter bar keeps the machine compact for transport and storage between commercial sites
