New, overstocked inventory, in-stock and ready to ship – surplus inventory, limited supply.
The Echo CS-620P-24 is Echo’s highest horsepower-per-displacement chainsaw — a 59.8cc X Series professional rear-handle saw that delivers more power per cubic centimeter than any other saw in the Echo lineup, built for arborists, loggers, and professional tree crews who need a mid-displacement machine that punches well above its weight class. With a 24″ bar capable of cutting logs up to 42″ in diameter, a G-Force Engine Air Pre-Cleaner™, digital ignition, magnesium major components, and an aluminum handle with rubber grip, it’s a machine built to keep cutting long after lighter saws have tapped out. The Echo CS-620P was developed from Echo's proven CS-600P engine platform and modified specifically to extract 13% more power from the same displacement — a deliberate engineering decision to make the CS-620P the highest horsepower-per-displacement chainsaw in Echo's entire lineup rather than simply the biggest engine they offer. The result is a 59.8cc saw that competes in cutting performance against larger-displacement saws from other manufacturers while keeping weight at 13.7 lbs. dry — a meaningful advantage on long days of felling, bucking, and limbing where the difference between a 13 lb. and a 16 lb. saw compounds across hundreds of cuts. The 24" PowerMatch bar extends reach to handle timber up to 42" in diameter in a single cut, covering the full size range of mid-to-large timber felling and storm cleanup work without requiring a dedicated big-bore saw.
The digital ignition system automatically adjusts engine timing for optimum performance across varying conditions — altitude changes, temperature swings, and fuel quality variations that would require manual carburetor adjustment on a conventional system are handled electronically without any operator intervention. The G-Force Engine Air Pre-Cleaner™ uses flywheel-generated centrifugal force to spin heavy dust and debris out of intake air before it reaches the two-piece heavy-duty air filter, extending filter life and protecting the engine on the chip-heavy job sites where a saw this size gets deployed most. Tool-less access to the air filter cover keeps field cleaning fast without carrying tools. A decompression valve reduces starter rope pull force for easier cold and hot starts, and dual bumper spikes at the front of the powerhead give the operator a solid, controlled purchase against the log during bucking and felling cuts — an important stability feature when the full length of a 24" bar is in the kerf. The automatic, adjustable, clutch-driven oiler runs only when the chain is turning, reducing bar oil consumption over a full day compared to constant-flow systems. A magnesium crankcase and sprocket cover keep weight in check while providing the structural rigidity the engine needs under the load of a 24" bar in hardwood. Side-access chain tensioner allows fast bar and chain adjustment without removing the bar cover. Backed by Echo's 5-year consumer / 1-year commercial warranty.
- Highest Horsepower-Per-Displacement in the Echo Lineup — 13% More Power Than the CS-600P Platform — the CS-620P engine was specifically modified from the proven CS-600P base to extract 13% more power output from the same 59.8cc displacement, delivering mid-large bore cutting performance in a 13.7 lb. package that stays manageable through a full day of production felling and bucking work
- G-Force Engine Air Pre-Cleaner™ with Digital Ignition and Tool-Less Two-Piece Air Filter — flywheel-driven centrifugal pre-cleaning removes heavy debris from intake air before it reaches the filter element, the digital ignition auto-adjusts timing for optimum performance in any condition, and tool-less filter access keeps field service fast without stopping to hunt for tools
- Dual Bumper Spikes with Side-Access Tensioner, Decompression Valve, and Clutch-Driven Adjustable Oiler — dual spikes give a controlled, stable purchase against the log on long 24" bar cuts, the side-access tensioner allows fast in-field chain adjustment, the decompression valve eases starting rope pull, and the clutch-driven oiler reduces bar oil consumption by running only when the chain moves
